A Letter from Rob & Michael Ann
We are so thankful you have made this courageous decision to bring your child into this world in order that he or she may be afforded the greatest gift of all, life. We hope you consider our family worthy of loving your child.
We are grateful for the opportunities God has given us, particularly the blessing of adoption. It has been a dream of ours to adopt a child and we are ecstatic to be on this journey. We look forward to providing your child a loving family and supporting them in their life endeavors. We are praying for you and your baby!
We are a Catholic, dual-military couple stationed in California, soaking up the adventure the Navy has afforded us. Our love of this great nation brought us together and our love for God keeps us strong.
Throughout the week we cook together and walk the pups each night under the moon and stars, and on weekends we explore a new part of our state’s gorgeous coastline! We enjoy riding our bikes down the boardwalk, working out, and eating delicious, home-cooked food. We are really excited to share these joys with our child, including the opportunities to see the world through the Navy.
Rob is my dream husband, friend, and future father. He devotes countless hours to service of God and country. When he’s home, he enjoys jamming on his guitars and playing the piano, working on projects around the house, playing chess, creating amazing meals, and stand-up paddling with the pups, all of which he hopes to teach our child!
I am genuinely proud of the work he does and the way he serves his community. What gives me the most joy is his care for others. His selflessness is what makes me a better person. I know he will be the most loving daddy and help to make our family the best versions of ourselves.
Loving and being loved by Michael Ann has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. She is caring and generous, yet it is her incredible love of God, children, and family that has been a constant source of direction for me. While passionate about her work, she primarily enjoys time spent in nature, writing poetry, making people laugh, practicing yoga, and praying. She is also incredibly engaged with our military community and has become an “auntie” to many of our friends’ kids. She cannot wait to stir and inspire the same joy and creativity in our baby.
We’ll face many challenges in life, but I feel blessed and humbled to face them with such a loving wife whom God created to bring light to the world. I know she will make a wonderful mama!
Our new home, besides the comfort it provides, is rich with local history. It is close to our church, the most beautiful ocean views in the state, and our family and friends. There are phenomenal schools all around us and we are fortunate to have amazing neighbors. We have a lovely, open, and bright four-bedroom home with great living space and we recently converted our guesthouse into a play space for the baby! It is warm, welcoming, and will be a great place to raise our family.
We have saints for parents who will make incredible grandparents to your baby. Rob is the third child of seven children and Michael Ann is the middle of three. Both sets of parents have been lovingly married for over 30 years!
We travel twice a year to Rob’s hometown in Missouri to spend time with his family including our six nieces and nephews going to the zoo, museums, parks, and their farm. Michael Ann’s family is in California, so we share dinners, movies, and great conversations together throughout the week. We are blessed to be from these Catholic families and want to build a strong, Christian family of our own!
In addition to our immediate family, we have an extended Navy family living all over the globe. We are truly surrounded by a network of loving people who fully support our mission to adopt.
We promise to love and adore your baby as you already have. We promise to bring them up in a joyful home, spending quality time with family and friends. We promise to teach them about truth, beauty, and goodness. We promise to share with them your beautiful journey and how they became part of our family. We promise a life of love and joy for your child. It is our calling to raise children with a heart for God and for others.

We are devout Catholic Christians and we will share our faith with our children, ensuring the best path for them to know and love God.
Our Special Interests
An engineer at heart, Rob is always tinkering with home projects. He gets satisfaction by improving everything around him. It's amazing to watch the creative cogs working and even more impressive to see the fruits of his efforts. He is also a stellar musician. He plays the piano, the bass and acoustic guitars, and the ukulele. The best is when he writes his own music. Michael Ann is a true wordsmith. Whether it's for her poetry journaling or to make people laugh, she is constantly creating in her mind. Her favorite thing is to write the lyrics to Rob's original songs!
Our Navy Adventure
We met in college and remained friends for seven years before we began our relationship during our first tour in Hawaii. It has been such a fun ride, and we are fortunate to be able to live in the country's most beautiful cities. We really look forward to the journey the Navy will take us on in the coming years, but are so happy to be settled in California.
Our Fur Babies
We have two loving labradoodles "doods" named Bobo and Ginger. They are brother and sister from the same litter and are absolutely inseparable. They love little kids, especially when they have sticky hands! They will make great pets to our children and will welcome our baby with loving kisses.
